Hocking Glass Company Green Depression Syrup Dispenser A green glass syrup dispenser by Hocking Glass Co. It measures about 4 1/2" tall, has vertical ribs running down the sides of the glass and has a spring loaded tin lid. The only thing to report is a tiny flake off the edge of the spout and a few of the usual straw marks that are commonly found on depression glass. This one, as do most of these syrup dispensers has a line around the center of the handle that seems to have happened during the manufacturing/cooling process. Item No. 3832 |

Sugar Shakers and Dispensers
Bullet Sugar Dispenser This is an old "Bullet" style sugar dispenser which was most likely manufactured by Paden city. It is made with very thick clear glass and is very heavy (over a pound empty) with a tin screw on base. The glass is in great shape with a few very minor bumps on the ridges but nothing I would classify as a chip or crack. The screw on base threads on and off easily and has some wear to the original finish mostly on the exterior where it made contact with the table. Item No. 2134 |

Tilt-A-Spoon Sugar Dispenser This is an old sugar dispenser that is marked "A TILT A SPOON POURS ONE SPOONFULL AT EACH TILT" on the cone. Unfortunately this one is missing the interior pieces that are supposed to snap inside the cone and allow it to dispense a measured teaspoon. There is some minor pitting of the finish on the back side of the cone, but no chips or cracks in the glass. Item No. 4002 |

Hazel Atlas Sugar Server/Dispenser A tall (about 6 3/4") deco style sugar shaker that dispenses a measured teaspoon from a storage area in the top with each tilt of the shaker. The glass has the Hazel Atlas mark on the bottom but the top is unmarked. There are no chips or cracks in the glass but there is a small dent in the side of the cover (it still screws on and off without a problem) and some rust on the threads of the ball that acts as a stopper. Measuring Device Co. Sugar Shaker This early shaker was made by the Measuring Device Co. of New York (MEDCO). They produced many different shakers over many years, but this is one of their earlier versions which includes a metal band around the base to protect it from chipping. There is some brass showing through on the metal and the metal band at the base is showing almost all brass. There is a screen insert that fits under the lid and helps to break up lumps of sugar for easier pouring. Item No. 2815 |
